WP2 is designed to maintain and further develop a common European vision, strategy and goals. The objective is on the one hand to provide the community with a widely accepted comprehensive strategic vision and future goals for QIPC research in a broad sense. On the other hand we will take the first steps to ensure the future sustainability of the field.

QUIE2T input to the EC Green Paper

QUIE2T has provided a position document as a response to the EC consultation regarding a "Green Paper on a Common Strategic Framework for future EU Research and Innovation Funding".

The consultation was initiated by Horizon 2020 - the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. The QUIE2T position paper is available from here.

QUIE2T input to FET flagship consultation meeting

An effective QUIE2T kick-off meeting took place in Brussels on March 19, 2010. Four QUIE2T members (V. Buzek, E. Giacobino, T. Calarco, P. Grangier) were present to discuss some future plans for the FET flagship initiative.

Tasks

T2.1 Virtual Institutes Experts (FBK-ECT*)

Objectives

The aim of WP2 is twofold. On the one hand, it will provide the community with a widely accepted comprehensive strategic vision and future goals of QIPC research; on the other hand it will explore possible ways to ensure the future sustainability of the field. These goals will be mainly achieved through the elaboration of a series of documents and tools serving the WP different purposes, which will be maintained and regularly updated.
